Minecraft Coordinates = Your Home Address in an Anarchy Server

In an anarchy server like 2b2t, your coordinates (X, Y, Z) are basically your home address—and if someone gets them, you might as well start packing your bags because your base will not last long. Just like in real life, if you accidentally leak your address (or coords), expect visitors… and not the friendly kind.

Why Are Coordinates So Important?

  • Your base's location is your greatest secret. Once found, it will likely be griefed beyond recognition.
  • Traveling far means safety. Spawn is a wasteland full of death traps, but the further you go, the safer you are—until someone tracks you down.
  • 2b2t has no rules. There are no admins to restore your base if it gets nuked. Once it's gone, it's gone forever.

How to Keep Your Coordinates Safe

1. Never Press F3 on Stream or Screenshots

Pressing F3 shows your coordinates in the debug menu. If you're streaming or sharing screenshots, blur or crop out your coords before posting. Many bases have been destroyed because someone posted a careless screenshot.

2. Use Random Travel Paths

  • Avoid traveling in straight lines, as highways and the Nether roof are heavily monitored.
  • Zigzag, double back, or use Elytra flight with fireworks to confuse potential trackers.
  • Avoid leaving an obvious trail—random block placements, boats, or mined blocks can give away your path.

3. Never Trust Strangers

In an anarchy server, even your "friend" might just be waiting for the right moment to stab you in the back. If you invite someone to your base, be 100% sure they won’t betray you.

4. Use Alternate Accounts for Travel

  • Main Account = Base Life
  • Alt Account = Traveling & Gathering ResourcesIf your travel account dies or gets compromised, at least your main base stays hidden.

5. Always Self-Destruct Old Bases

If you're leaving a base behind, burn it down, blow it up, or cover it with obsidian so enemies don’t get any clues.

6. Don't Use Nether Coordinates Carelessly

Because the Nether is 1:8 scale, if someone finds your portal, they can easily track where it leads in the Overworld. Always destroy Nether portals behind you.

7. Watch for Exploiters & Coordinate Leaks

  • Hackers with ESP, tracers, and stash finders can detect chests and player activity.
  • Some clients track coordinate logs, so if you download sketchy mods, you might accidentally leak your own base.
  • Doxxing isn't just a real-life problem—your Minecraft coords can be doxxed too.

What Happens If Your Coords Get Leaked?

If someone posts your coordinates in 2b2t chat, it’s over. Expect withers, lava casts, TNT bombers, and a complete nuclear wasteland where your base once stood.

Emergency Steps:

  1. Grab your most valuable items and log off immediately.
  2. Come back at a random time (preferably off-peak hours).
  3. Pack up and abandon the base.
  4. If you're lucky, no one checked the leak yet—move fast.

Final Rule: Paranoia is Key

In anarchy servers, trust no one, keep moving, and never get too comfortable. Your coordinates are your most valuable secret—protect them like your life depends on it. Because in 2b2t, it kinda does.
