💎 Crystal PvP – High-Speed Deathmatch
One of the most effective combat tactics on anarchy servers, Crystal PvP involves:
- Placing End Crystals (which explode when placed on obsidian).
- Detonating them instantly to deal insane amounts of damage.
- Using totems of undying to survive their own explosions while wiping out their enemies.
Unlike normal sword fights, Crystal PvP is about speed and precision—a single well-placed crystal can instantly kill a fully-armored player.
🛏️ Bed Trap – The Never-Ending Death Loop
A cruel but effective method of spawn trapping, the Bed Trap works like this:
- Build a cage of obsidian around the target’s bed.
- Place lava inside so they instantly burn upon respawning.
- If done correctly, they are now permanently stuck.
This forces victims into an infinite respawn-death cycle, trapping them forever unless they:
- Get outside help.
- Abandon their account.
- Alt + F4 and reflect on their life choices.

📚 Bookbanning – When Literacy Becomes a Weapon
One of the most infamous exploits on anarchy servers, Bookbanning is a technique used to force players to disconnect permanently.
- Fill a Shulker Box with books.
- Each book contains massive amounts of text (often the entire works of Shakespeare, Bible verses, or just raw data).
- Give the shulker to the target, trick them into opening it.
- The game tries to process all the data at once, overloading the packet size.
- The player instantly disconnects and can never reconnect, as the game immediately crashes upon login.
There is no in-game counterplay—if you get bookbanned, you need server-side intervention (which anarchy servers don’t provide) or an alt account.
🛑 Chunkban – The Server Crasher
Similar to Bookbanning, but instead of disconnecting a player, Chunkbanning corrupts an entire region.
- Fill a chunk with block entities such as furnaces, signs, or hoppers.
- When a player loads the chunk, the game tries to process all the block data at once.
- If done correctly, anyone entering the chunk is instantly disconnected.
- Unlike Bookbanning, this can entirely corrupt regions of the world, making them unplayable.
Entire bases and highways have been lost due to Chunkbans, with griefers using them to wipe out enemy structures permanently.
