How to Destroy Nether Portals Behind You in Anarchy Servers

Since Nether portals always generate a counterpart in the other dimension, simply breaking the portal you entered through won't be enough. You need to make sure that no one can use the return portal to track your location. Here’s how:

1. Break the Portal Frame in Both Dimensions

  • Overworld: If you enter from an overworld portal, as soon as you step into the Nether, turn around and break the obsidian frame.
  • Nether: When you exit into the overworld, immediately break the portal before moving away.

  • If someone tries to use the same entry portal, they'll be taken to an empty or dangerous location.

6. Use Traps to Deter Pursuers

If you suspect someone might use your portal:

  • Lava Curtains: Place lava on top of the exit so anyone stepping through gets cooked.
  • TNT Traps: Place TNT under the portal with a pressure plate or tripwire.
  • Obsidian Prison: Surround the portal with obsidian to make it hard for players to escape.

Final Rule: Always Look Behind You

Once you step through a portal, don’t just run off—check if someone followed you. If you see any signs of movement, break and relocate immediately.
