Subject: Conduct and Consequences in Project Art3mis

Project Art3mis operates on the principle of casual anarchy—a sandbox where creativity is encouraged, freedom is protected, and unnecessary rules are left at the door. However, with great freedom comes a degree of responsibility, especially when it comes to the shared server environment and infrastructure.

As stated by [RD]Califrog:

“เซิฟนี้จะแฮกจะเหวอะไรเต็มที่นะ อย่าเล่น TNT จนพังก็พอ”

Translation: "Do whatever nonsense you want. Just don’t crash the server with TNT."

In light of this philosophy, the Royal Decree does not maintain traditional bans or heavy-handed moderation. However, that does not imply immunity from consequences. Below is the official tiered punishment system that may be issued at administrator discretion.

Tier 1: Corrective Measures (Warnings & Mild Disruptions)

These are issued for behavior that is annoying, disruptive, or inconsiderate but not malicious. Often meant to be humorous and educational.

  • Temporary Mute: Applied for spam, excessive arguing, or chat flooding. Duration may vary.
  • Inventory Conversion: Temporary replacement of all items in a player's inventory with potatoes.
  • Troll Simulations: Subjecting the player to mock experiences like “alien abductions” or being hit with phantom arrows as a form of non-lethal warning.
  • Noob Spellcasting: The word “NOOB” is constructed in the air while teleporting the player high into the sky for dramatic effect.

Tier 2: Containment and Displacement

These punishments are applied to players who create significant disturbances, lag machines, or make excessive use of server resources to the point of affecting stability.

  • World Border Exile: The player is forcefully relocated to the edges of the Minecraft world. Return is possible but discouraged by distance and terrain.
  • Revocation of Claims: Any land granted under the Homesteading Act may be revoked for abuse or failure to comply with base claim guidelines.

Tier 3: Administrative Restrictions

Applied in cases where players act maliciously, repeatedly break infrastructure, or deliberately attempt to crash or overload the server.

  • The Tarnished Role: This removes all plugin-based permissions. The player can still log in, but they can no longer use commands, claim land, or interact with protected server features.
  • Shadow Flagging: Player activity is limited in visibility to others, and logging in becomes more of a formality than a utility.

Tier 4: Permanent Administrative Sanction

Reserved for the most egregious offenses, or as a symbolic punishment in lieu of a ban.

  • Permanent Adventure Mode: The player is forcefully placed in Adventure Mode with no way to return. They can move, observe, and suffer— but never interact. It is the ultimate form of server exile without removal, effectively turning the player into a ghost within the world.

Statement on Player Freedom and Server Governance

The Royal Decree upholds that Project Art3mis will never implement Mojang’s controversial chat reporting system, nor will it enforce message signing. Chat moderation is intentionally minimal, and players are expected to resolve disputes among themselves. Insults, griefing, and raiding are part of the anarchy experience.

However, actions that directly threaten server performance, stability, or long-term enjoyment of the community may be subject to intervention using the measures described above.

This is not a call for censorship or excessive oversight. It is a pragmatic safeguard for the continuity of Project Art3mis as a functioning, inclusive, and chaotic space.
