📢 The Royal Decree Announces: CalifrogMC is Now Project Art3mis!

Effective Immediately – The Royal Decree has officially rebranded CalifrogMC to Project Art3mis in a bold move to usher in a new era of chaos, creativity, and dirt-based economic mismanagement.

This change reflects the evolution of our server—from a small, casual anarchy world meant for OGs and friends into a full-fledged sandbox of lawless ambition, questionable governance, and absurdly large megaprojects.

While the name CalifrogMC served us well, the time has come to embrace the future.

🛠 What’s Changing?

• New Branding – A fresh logo & identity coming soon, ensuring that we look cool and official even though the server is still run by degenerates.
• New Name: Project Art3mis – Because "CalifrogMC" sounded like a retirement home for amphibians and we needed a name that screams futuristic anarchy.
• Server Join Address Stays (For Now) – You can still use the current IP/domain to connect, but it will expire on July 25, 2025.
• New Domain Name? – Rest assured, we will be considering a fresh, dystopian-sounding domain soon.

🌟 Why “Project Art3mis”?

The name Art3mis represents:

• Mythological References – Artemis was the Greek goddess of the hunt, wilderness, and… chaotic independence (sounds like an anarchy server to us!).
• Cyberpunk & Dystopian Themes – The futuristic 3 in Art3mis reflects the world of emergent gameplay, cyber-dirt economies, and players trying to speedrun civilization.
• A Rebranding That’s Edgy, But Not Too Edgy – We could’ve gone with something like “Dirtcoin SMP” or “The Republic of Chaos”, but we’re at least trying to sound refined.

• The Royal Decree still reigns supreme. You are still peasants in a lawless sandbox.
• No resets. Your builds, land claims, and megaprojects will remain, until you forget your login credentials and someone steals your land.
• Dirt-based economy is still here (even if nobody uses it).
• Minimal admin intervention. You are still free to grief, build, or disappear forever.
• Hyperloop, Royal Decree-funded infrastructure, and the chaos that defines us.
