Religion and Addiction

I think alot of addicts are manipulative and also easily manipulated and narcissistic and probably had a bad upbringing like dead beat dad so they get easily manipulated by there rehabs but also can’t think for themselves and think that they need to be this way to be sober and a good person and just fake the religiousness as they think it’s wat the workers want to see and to feel superior cause drug addicts are always at the bottom getting in and out of trouble always looked down on if there religious others will respect them more not fully noing them cause if your religious ppl assume your a good person so they get to feel superior to others and to be praised by the workers of the rehab even if the addict isn’t fully sober and still struggling as long as they look the part they still get the praises and there narsassism gets to them and they get a big head being praised all the time for being such a changed person then that goes into the upbringing getting no praises as a kid they feed on the praises of others and the workers even if it’s all a mask these addicts need to actually heal first pushing god like they do so soon on these easily manipulated addicts basically telling them to be sober you need to be like us overly religious so instead of truly working on themselves and there addiction they think well I gotta turn into these religious guys and I’ll be like them so they get into this religion so much like a new drug instead of working on themselves there childhood there trauma the horrible things they did on drugs wat led them to do drugs they skip that and don’t have to take responsibility for any of it get to be sober and praised for this religious costume they put on everyday these addicts are so easily manipulated and the stuff they’ve probably been threw they feel this is the only way cause most of them dont no any better and weren’t taught anything they all pretty much do wat other ppl do hence them being on drugs and all liveing doing similar things and most not wanting to get sober as they’d lose respect of there addict friends and wouldn’t be cool anymore if they don’t do pills and get a job and pay bills instead of sitting somewere getting high wit a bunch of addicts going nowere and it’ll hurt there pride to much if they left and got clean and not included in the addict friend cool group these ppl chose drugs for a reason they need to find that reason and get help to heal from that and learn new copeing skills instead of turning to drugs then be taught wat they should do to be an adult alot of addicts didn’t have that they need to learn to work take care of themselves and get a home a car shown the ways to live like a normal adult while still working on themselves then shown religion so then maybe these vulnerable addicts wouldn’t think they have to put on this religious costume everyday to be praised and be told there doing good these ppl can’t think for themselves and often mirror others kind of being fake cause again they don’t trust others they haven’t lived a normal life and assume these other ppl are also dismissing everything and just being religious on the outside to others is wat there doing so then they pretend and get so far into and away from the actual cause of there addiction and alot of drug addicts are narcissistic and getting praise quickly builds them up keeps there head big until it’s time to leave the rehab and now there left to figure out the way to be an adult witout that religious costume everyday and no more praises they so craved like they need someone to tell them there doing good every time they do something cause they didn’t get it as a kid so they go to work wit normal ppl and can’t be all crazy religious towards everyone cause most ppl aren’t like that and don’t want to only hear that everyday now your left to adapt into a life you weren’t taught to live in and then most end up relapsing they make these addicts think being fake religious that’s it will change them no accountability no work no helping themselves and then they get out there’s not alot of ppl outside of rehab that are overly religious daily like in rehabs and noones praiseimg them everyday every time they do something cause I’m the real world everyone’s getting up going to work laying there bills takeing care of themselves wit noone there praising them for every little thing they do cause there adults it’s wat you do so then there head isn’t being big anymore noone to be narcissistic to then they fall into regular world and relapse.
