The Great Squidward Purge: A Minecraft Tale of Mayhem and (Accidental?) Renewal

The legends of MoNoRi-Chan's SMP server are many, but none quite as epic (or infamous) as the tale of the first NPC village encountered by MoNoRi-Chan and Professor Atts. This wasn't your typical village encounter, filled with heartwarming trades and helpful hints. Oh no, this was a story of… well, let's just say it wasn't the villagers' finest day.

MoNoRi-Chan, the Relentless Raider (Allegedly)

According to whispers around the digital campfire, MoNoRi-Chan, with the enthusiastic (or perhaps nervous) assistance of Professor Atts, descended upon the village like a whirlwind. The villagers, known for their… unique… vocalizations (think an army of Squidwards), likely didn't stand a chance.

The Great Bed Heist (and Other Sticky Situations)

The loot reports are truly staggering. Beds – seemingly every bed in the village – vanished into MoNoRi-Chan's bottomless inventory. Chests were plundered, their contents claimed as rightful spoils. It was a night (or perhaps a Minecraft day) of… spirited acquisition.

TNT Tuesday Takes a Turn for the Explosive

But MoNoRi-Chan's reign of (alleged) resource gathering wasn't over. In a move that some might call questionable (and others might call spectacularly chaotic), TNT – the archaeologist's best friend (or worst enemy, depending on the day) – came into play. Half the village, in a glorious (or horrifying) display of pyrotechnics, met a fiery demise.

The Lavacasting: A Molten Makeover (or Maybe Just More Mayhem)

As if the TNT wasn't enough, the legends speak of a final, fiery flourish. Lava, that most versatile (and destructive) of Minecraft materials, was unleashed upon the remaining structures. By the time the smoke cleared (and the lava cooled), the once-bustling village was a smoldering testament to MoNoRi-Chan's… creative approach to urban renewal.

From the Ashes, a New Spawn Awaits

But wait! There's a twist to the tale! For amidst the destruction, a terrible beauty was born. The flattened land, courtesy of the TNT, and the strategically placed lava (courtesy of MoNoRi-Chan's undeniable creativity), provided the perfect canvas for a brand new Spawn Area for the MoNoRi-Chan SMP server!

The Legacy of the Squidward Purge

Whether it was a ruthless raid or a misunderstood act of urban planning, the legend of the first NPC village encounter remains a cornerstone of MoNoRi-Chan's SMP lore. It's a cautionary tale (sort of), a hilarious anecdote (mostly), and a reminder that sometimes, the most spectacular creations can arise from the most… unexpected beginnings. So, the next time you encounter a village on the server, take a moment to remember the Squidward People, and their fiery farewell. You just might be laying the groundwork for the next legendary landmark.

Pov you are a villager

The old oak groans in the wind, whispering tales of generations past. Our village, nestled at the foot of Whispering Peak, has thrived here for countless moons. We built our homes from the warm embrace of the earth, our workshops echoed with the clang of iron, and our laughter filled the air like the tinkling of bells.

Then came the tremors. Strange sounds, like the growls of a beast far off. We watched with wide eyes as two figures emerged from the swirling mists – one with hair the color of tarnished copper, the other adorned in an outlandish purple robe.

Fear, cold and sharp, pricked at our hearts. The one with the copper hair raided our chests, snatching our hard-earned wheat and carrots with a careless hand. The other, the robed one, cackled madly as he littered our main path with hissing, sparking contraptions. We named them the Devastators.

Night fell, heavy and oppressive. The tremors intensified, culminating in a terrifying roar that shook the very ground. The sky rained fire, great explosions erupting from the path the robed one had defiled. Panic seized the village. Screams tore through the darkness as my neighbors fled, their fates unknown.

Morning revealed a scene of horror. My fellow villagers, gone. Only the smoldering remains of their homes and the acrid scent of sulfur lingered. From the wreckage, I saw a sight that chilled me to the bone. A towering wall, built from molten rock, snaked around the village, encasing our beloved community center, a monument to our togetherness, in a cold, grey tomb.

Tears blurred my vision. The Devastators, those harbingers of chaos, were now constructing a crude watchtower from the very stones of our homes. I watched, hidden in the shadow of Whispering Peak, as they spoke in a harsh tongue, their laughter echoing across the graveyard of our village.

They called it "Manifest Destiny," a justification for their barbarity. This, they claimed, was for the benefit of others, a new beginning. But for us, it was the end.

This is a warning, fellow villagers. Stay away from the coordinates 0, 0. Flee from the sight of players, especially those with a glint of destruction in their eyes. For they bring only chaos and sorrow.

This is the story of our demise. Let it be a lesson.

Timeline

The Book of MoNoRi, Chapter 1: The Spawning and the Squadding

Verse 1

In the beginning, there was Void. And the Void was without form, and serverless, and the data packets were hollow. Then came MoNoRi-Chan, the server admin, and Professor Atts, the ever-curious explorer, and the Spirit of Minecraft spake unto them, saying, "Let there be Spawn!"

Verse 2

And so they spawned, in a land of rolling hills and verdant plains. Yet, lo, before them stood a village, a quaint settlement of Squidwardly folk. Their houses, crafted of wood and cobblestone, blocked the path to a grander design.

Verse 3

MoNoRi-Chan, with a sigh, spake unto Professor Atts, saying, "These villagers, they are in the way of our grand design. But fret not, for I shall show them mercy, a compassion unknown on servers like 2b2t!"

Verse 4

Professor Atts, his brow furrowed, did question, "Mercy? But how so, MoNoRi-Chan?"

Verse 5

And MoNoRi-Chan, with a glint in his eye, did reply, "We shall take what we need – chests overflowing with wheat, beds for a weary traveler's rest – and in their stead, we shall build a monument, a Spawn Tower of such grandeur, it shall make their simple dwellings seem like forgotten dirt huts!"

Verse 6

Professor Atts, ever the pragmatist, did nod in agreement. And so, with pickaxes raised and inventories open, they descended upon the village. The villagers, unused to such… "borrowing," did emit a chorus of disgruntled hmphing.

Verse 7

But MoNoRi-Chan, his heart full of (alleged) benevolence, did spare the dwelling closest to the mountain, a humble abode nestled beneath the watchful gaze of Whispering Peak. "For one villager," he declared, "shall witness the glory of our creation and spread the word of our… uh… resource management skills!"

Verse 8

And on the second Minecraft day, the great TNT-ing did commence. The air, once filled with the gentle sounds of pickaxes, now echoed with the thunderous booms of explosions. Half the village, once a place of… well, villagers… was reduced to a smoldering crater.

Verse 9

And on the third Minecraft day, the lava flowed. A fiery river, born from the nether, did engulf the remaining structures. The once-quaint village was now a desolate wasteland, a testament to MoNoRi-Chan's… unique… approach to urban planning.

Verse 10

But from the ashes, a new dawn did break. The flattened land, courtesy of the TNT, and the strategically placed lava (courtesy of MoNoRi-Chan's undeniable creativity), provided the perfect foundation for a glorious Spawn Tower!

Verse 11

And so, the days turned into weeks, the weeks into months, as MoNoRi-Chan and Professor Atts toiled under the Minecraft sun. Cobblestone by cobblestone, obsidian by obsidian, the Spawn Tower rose, a beacon of… well, something… to all who spawned upon the server.

Verse 12

Thus ends the first chapter of the Book of MoNoRi. A tale of "borrowing," explosions, and molten makeovers. A cautionary fable for villagers, a hilarious anecdote for players, and a reminder that sometimes, the most spectacular creations can arise from the most… unexpected beginnings. Now go forth, and explore the server, but remember, steer clear of any suspicious players with pickaxes… unless you're a fan of contemporary architecture (made entirely of cobblestone and obsidian, of course).
