Art3mis Improvement Proposals (AIPs): A Legislative Framework for Anarchy in Moderation

A New Chapter in Server Governance

In a decisive move by The Royal Decree of Art3mis, the era of CalifrogMC Improvement Proposals (CIPs) has been declared grandfathered law, marking the close of an early constitutional phase in the server’s legislative history. In its place rises the Art3mis Improvement Proposals (AIPs) system—a formal legislative process modeled loosely after both democratic and dictatorial traditions, where chaos meets controlled policy.

§1. Legislative Classification of Bills

To maintain systemic integrity, AIPs are divided into the following legislative types:

  • EO (Executive Order): Immediate effect upon ratification by The Royal Decree, no player vote required. Typically used in emergencies or server infrastructure-related actions.
  • GA (General Act): Requires majority community consensus. Concerns public projects, economy, and long-term governance mechanics.
  • TA (Technical Amendment): Updates or corrects existing acts. No policy changes, only structural.
  • SA (Sanction Act): Used for enforcement protocols, bans, rollback policies, or intervention rulings.

Each AIP, once passed, enters the official Server Canon, becoming an enforceable statute.

§2. The Origin: The CIP, Now Known as AIP-1 (EO)

The inaugural bill under the new Art3mis legislative charter—AIP-1 (EO): CoreProtect Installation Proposal, dubbed colloquially as “The CIP”—marks the moment when raw chaos met server accountability.

Despite Art3mis priding itself on its anarchy roots, unchecked destruction forced Califrog to lean over to MoNoRi-Chan and mutter the fateful command:

"Install CoreProtect."

Though controversial—many feared it would lead to a surveillance state within the digital dirtocracy—MoNoRi-Chan complied. However, the plugin's latest builds were outdated. And like Thanos, staring at a broken system, he uttered the words:

“Fine, I’ll compile it myself.”

Utilizing Maven and Jenkins, the plugin was manually built for compatibility with Minecraft v1.21.4. It now runs as a passive observer of the anarchy ecosystem. Though rollbacks are technically enabled, their use is restricted to circumstances where reasonable doubt of griefing by non-consensual players exists. In simpler terms: if you blow up spawn for the lulz, expect your coordinates to get doxxed via /co inspect.

§3. Surveillance & Enforcement Framework

As stipulated in AIP-1, CoreProtect functions as a last-resort enforcement tool. Its primary purpose is:

  • Forensics: Track and identify griefers, arsonists, and ore-sniffing degenerates.
  • Transparency: Coordinate logs may be released to the public under Royal Decree or if MoNoRi-Chan is feeling particularly vengeful.
  • Rollback Clause: Triggered only in cases where there is compelling community interest and damage is irreversible.

Make no mistake: Big Brother doesn’t watch, he logs with timestamps.

§4. Political Fallout & Land Grabs

Shortly after The CIP’s ratification, nealnp—an early settler and cathedral architect—leveraged a $10 million JR windfall from Califrog to initiate Mountain Range Consolidation, acquiring vast land holdings near public tunnels. When questioned, nealnp vaguely stated plans to build a "castle or something rental-related."

Califrog issued a checkerboard challenge to reclaim said mountains—wagering territory itself—but was politely rebuffed. He later described nealnp as a “smartass prick,” to which MoNoRi-Chan replied in a tone of quiet fury:

“You gave him 10 million and what would you think he would do to the economy? Think, Califrog, think! Now he’s got a whole mountain range under his name.”

§5. Trade Regulation & End Crystal Black Market

In a related Executive Order (non-numbered), the End Crystal Shop was forcibly removed from Spawn due to stockpiling abuse. MoNoRi-Chan had previously laundered over 10+ chestfuls of turnover.

Evoking comparisons to the MHRB-DMT loophole on eBay. In response, MoNoRi-Chan now considers selling ingredients for crystals instead. Because if it's not illegal to own matches, it shouldn’t be illegal to own sulfur, right?

Final Notes

The adoption of AIPs is not just procedural—it is philosophical. It recognizes that even in chaos, there is a need for logs, timestamps, and rollback buttons. As Art3mis continues its path into techno-feudal survivalism, these proposals will serve as the codex by which factions war, trade, and legislate.

"The only law that matters is the one logged by CoreProtect."

Stay tuned for upcoming proposals and debates.
