Recovery Compass: The Most Useless Item in Project Art3mis (But We'll Buy It Anyway)
Minecraft’s Recovery Compass is one of the most ironic items ever added to the game.
Think about it:
- If you need a Recovery Compass, you probably don’t deserve one. Why? Because it’s locked behind the most dangerous structure in the game—the Ancient City. If you’re the kind of player who constantly dies and needs a Recovery Compass, good luck even making it out of there alive.
- If you have a Recovery Compass, you don’t need one. Let’s be real—if you’re skilled enough to raid an Ancient City and escape with your inventory intact, you probably already know how not to die in the first place.
Mojang, in its infinite wisdom, has created the ultimate paradox of item usefulness—those who need it can’t get it, and those who get it don’t need it.
📌 But in Project Art3mis? Even More Useless.
Project Art3mis is an anarchy server with /back, no item drop on death, and minimal consequences for failure. If you die? Just type /back and move on with your life.
So the Recovery Compass, which is supposed to lead you to your last death location, is completely worthless here.
Even more absurd? The server admins were thinking of ways to make this item valuable, but no amount of buffing will change the fact that it’s functionally useless in Art3mis.
💰 The Recovery Compass Buyback Program: Turning Uselessness into Wealth
Since Mojang has so graciously given us the most pointless item ever, The Royal Decree has decided to initiate a Recovery Compass Buyback Program.
📜 How It Works:
✔ Players can turn in their Recovery Compasses for $JR (JungRai Coins).
✔ The exchange rate is subject to change, but currently:
✔ 1 Recovery Compass = 46,656 $JR (or a full chest of shulker boxes worth of dirt).
✔ Think of it as your "Gold Certificate"—a rare, ultra-high-value item that can be redeemed for riches anytime.
🎭 The Ironic Reality
We literally do not need Recovery Compasses, but The Royal Decree is willing to buy them at an obscene price just to create artificial value. Why? Because that’s how economies work—arbitrary things become valuable when people agree they are.
- In the real world, paper money only has value because governments say it does.
- In Project Art3mis, Recovery Compasses now have value because we say so.
So if you somehow have one of these relics of uselessness, congratulations—you’re rich now. Come trade it in before we change our minds. 🚀
