Under the direction of the Shift Manager and in adherence to established operational protocols and brand standards, the McDonald's Associate will be entrusted with the following critical responsibilities:

  1. Point-of-Sale (POS) System Operation and Transaction Management:
    • Proficiently operate and navigate the computerized Point-of-Sale (POS) system to accurately process customer orders, encompassing both food and beverage selections.
    • Execute transactional procedures with precision, including the accurate scanning or manual entry of order items, application of discounts or promotional offers, and the meticulous calculation of order totals.
    • Manage financial transactions with utmost accuracy and integrity, encompassing the acceptance of diverse payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payment solutions) and the provision of correct change to customers.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of current pricing structures, menu offerings, and promotional campaigns to effectively address customer inquiries and ensure accurate order processing.
  2. Customer Engagement and Service Delivery:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, embodying a professional, courteous, and customer-focused demeanor at all times.
    • Engage with customers in a clear and articulate manner, actively listening to their order requirements and providing helpful guidance or recommendations regarding menu selections.
