This shows the depth of the rabbit hole he has been sinking into since he has been abusing drugs heavily. He'll probably keep going at it for a few more years until he either dies, he's forced into rehab or the psych ward (like Kanye), or somehow gets arrested. I'd guess he's still in the functional addict phase, but no way he can sustain it indefinitely. The damage to whatever mental health and sanity he had left is already done though.
