Get ready to experience the thrill of a real-world market! The price of a gold ingot in-game will now mirror the spot price of XAU/USD (gold). That's right, your Minecraft mining efforts can now have real-world value!
Beyond the Ingot: A Multi-Tiered Market
But wait, there's more! MoNoRi-Chan, being a seasoned gold trader themself, understands the complexities of the precious metal market. This is why we're introducing a multi-tiered gold market:
- Gold Ingot: Traded at the exact spot price of XAU/USD.
- Raw Gold: This reflects the Thai gold standard of 96.5% purity. The price will be 96.5% of the gold ingot price, with a maximum spread of 5 JungRai Coins ($JR) for buying and selling.
- Gold Nuggets: These are considered "odd-lots" and may have lower liquidity. Their price will be set at 1/9th of the raw gold price, with an acceptable bid/ask spread.
Trade at Your Own Risk: A Miner's Disclaimer
MoNoRi-Chan reminds all prospectors: The Exchange operates with SQL coins, a virtual currency within the server. While the market is based on real-world principles, buyer and seller are ultimately responsible for their own financial decisions.
